Dr. Andreas Opfermann
Dr Andreas Opfermann was appointed as Executive Vice President Americas in November 2019. He previously held the position of Regional Business Unit leader for Europe North. Dr Opfermann is currently responsible for the Clean Hydrogen division at Linde.
Dr Opfermann came to Linde in 2005, initially working in the Corporate Strategy division. He then held several leadership positions in the areas of technology, innovation and clean energy and, finally, became responsible for research and development at Linde.
Before joining Linde, Dr Opfermann worked at McKinsey & Company. Dr Opfermann studied physics at the University of Heidelberg and became a Doctor of Physics and Mathematics at the University of Cambridge.
