Dr. Andreas Gorbach
Dr. Andreas Gorbach was born in Ostfildern-Ruit in 1975. He studied engineering and process technology at the University of Stuttgart from 1994 to 1999. From 1998 to 1999, he pursued the master’s program in System Dynamics and Control at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. In 2005, he completed his PhD in process engineering at the University of Stuttgart.
In 2005, Dr. Andreas Gorbach commenced his professional career at the then Daimler Chrysler AG in the field of powertrain development. Since December 2021, Dr. Andreas Gorbach has been a member of the board of directors of Daimler Holding AG, where he is responsible for Truck Technology. He also serves as a board member of Daimler Truck AG.
