Dr. Andreas Gorbach
Andreas Gorbach was born on May 25, 1975, in Ostfildern-Ruit. From 1994 to 1999, he studied engineering and process engineering at the University of Stuttgart. From 1998 to 1999, he completed a Master's program in System Dynamics and Control at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. In 2005, he received his doctorate (Dr.-Ing.) in process engineering from the University of Stuttgart.
In 2005, Andreas Gorbach began his professional career at what was then Daimler Chrysler AG in the area of powertrain development. Since December 1, 2021, Andreas Gorbach has been a member of the Board of Management of Daimler Holding AG, where he is responsible for Truck Technology. He is also a member of the Board of Management of Daimler Truck AG.
