Dr. Nicole Schödel

Dr. Nicole Schödel has been the Director of Chemical Technology Services at Linde Engineering since 2020. Linde Engineering specializes in chemical plant construction, particularly for the industrial gas sector. It provides all steps of the hydrogen value chain, from production to processing, distribution, storage, and applications for external customers and Linde Gas.

For over 30 years, Dr. Schödel has worked for Linde Engineering in various roles, focusing particularly on process development and optimization in hydrogen and synthesis gas plants and downstream processes, petrochemical and gas purification plants. In 2012, she was appointed as a Linde Fellow.

Additionally, she is involved in committees and organizations. She was a member of the Steering Committee of the German Society of Catalysis (GeCats), a suborganization of DECHEMA, and regularly participates in scientific committees of conferences.

Dr. Schödel was born in 1961 and studied chemistry. She earned her doctorate in technical chemistry at TU Munich.
