Dr. Nicole Schödel

Nicole Schödel has been Director of Chemical Technology Services at Linde Engineering since 2020. Linde Engineering specializes in chemical plant engineering, particularly for the industrial gas sector. Among other services, it offers all stages of the hydrogen value chain, from production and processing to distribution, storage, and applications for external customers and Linde Gas.
Schödel has worked for Linde Engineering for over 30 years in various roles, primarily in the development and optimization of processes, with a focus on hydrogen and synthesis gas plants and downstream processes, petrochemical plants, and gas purification systems. In 2012, she was also appointed a Linde Fellow.
Furthermore, she is actively involved in various committees and organizations. She was a member of the steering committee of the German Society of Catalysis (GeCats), a sub-organization of DECHEMA, and regularly serves on scientific committees at conferences.
Nicole Schödel (born in 1961) studied chemistry and earned her doctorate in technical chemistry from the Technical University of Munich.
