Dr. Nicole Schödel
Dr. Nicole Schödel has been with Linde for more than 35 years, holding a variety of roles in process development and optimization. Her expertise spans hydrogen and synthesis gas plants and downstream processes, as well as petrochemical and gas purification facilities.
Dr. Schödel was named a Linde Fellow in 2012 and appointed Director of Chemical Technology Services in 2020. Since 2025, she has focused exclusively on her role as a Fellow, dedicating her efforts to research partnerships and committee work.
She is actively involved in numerous professional organizations and industry committees. Among her contributions, she served on the steering committee of the German Catalysis Society (GeCats), a Society for Chemical Engineering and Biotechnology (DECHEMA) organization, and regularly participates on the scientific committees of international conferences.
Born in 1961, Dr. Schödel studied chemistry at the Technical University of Munich, where she also earned her doctorate in technical chemistry.
