Dr. Susanna Zapreva
Susanna Zapreva has been a member of the Management Board of VERBUND AG since January 2024, where she is responsible for, among other things, international growth. Prior to this, she was CEO of enercity AG in Germany from 2016 to 2023. Her career path led her from the consulting industry to the energy sector. Before moving to Germany, Susanna Zapreva was Managing Director of Wien Energie GmbH for nine years.
She studied electrical engineering and subsequently earned a doctorate in technical sciences at the Vienna University of Technology. In addition, Susanna Zapreva holds a degree in business administration from the Vienna University of Economics and Business and the University of South Australia in Adelaide. She is completing her management and leadership training at the Said Business School at the University of Oxford.
Susanna Zapreva holds several supervisory and advisory board positions at prominent companies in German-speaking countries.
