Dr. Susanna Zapreva
Dr Susanna Zapreva has been a member of the board of directors of Verbund AG since January 2024, where she is responsible for, among other things, the international growth business. Prior to that, she served as the CEO of enercity AG in Germany from 2016 to 2023. Her career path led from the consulting industry to the energy sector. Before her move to Germany, Dr Susanna Zapreva was the managing director of Wien Energie GmbH for nine years.
She completed her studies in electrical engineering and subsequently earned a doctorate in technical sciences at the Technical University of Vienna. In addition, Dr Susanna Zapreva successfully completed an additional degree programme in business administration at the Vienna University of Economics and Business and at the University of South Australia in Adelaide. She also completed her management and leadership training at the Said Business School at the University of Oxford.
Dr Zapreva works in supervisory and advisory capacities on the boards of many notable companies in the German-speaking world.
