OGE is one of the leading transmission system operators in Europe and a pioneer in the hydrogen sector. Under Dr Bergmann’s leadership, OGE, in cooperation with renown partners in the fields of production and sales, is advancing various strategic hydrogen projects that encompass the entire value chain.

In addition, Dr Bergmann is actively involved with energy industry associations and, among others, is a Member of the Management Board at the German Association of Energy and Water Industries (Bundesverband der Energie- und Wasserwirtschaft, BDEW) and a Member of the Supervisory Board at Zukunft Gas (an initiative of Germany’s natural gas industry). He directs the working group for transport, infrastructure, storage and heating at the German National Hydrogen Council.
